Early life
Campoli was born in North York, Ontario, Canada. He developed his hockey skills playing junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Path and career
Campoli was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2002 and made his NHL debut in 2005. He played as a defenseman for the Senators, Oilers, Islanders, and other teams throughout his professional career.
He was known for his physical defensive style and appeared in over 400 NHL games. Campoli also played in the AHL and internationally for Canada.
