Early life
Malgin was born in Zurich, Switzerland. He grew up playing ice hockey in the Swiss youth system.
Path and career
Malgin played for ZSC Lions' junior team before joining their professional roster. He made his NHL debut with the Colorado Avalanche in 2016 and later played for the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs.
He has represented Switzerland at multiple international tournaments including the World Championships and Olympic Games. Malgin has also played in the Swiss National League (NL) for teams including ZSC Lions and Lugano.
