Early life
Trainor grew up in a musical family; her father is a musician and composer. She began writing songs at age six and learned multiple instruments including piano, ukulele, and bass during childhood.
Path and career
Trainor signed with Epic Records in 2014 and released her debut album 'Title' in January 2015, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Her lead single 'All About That Bass' became a massive hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and establishing her signature doo-wop-influenced pop style.
She has since released multiple albums including 'Thank You' (2016), 'Treat Myself' (2020), and 'Takin' It Back' (2022). Trainor has also worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists and appeared as a coach on the television show 'The Four.'
