Early life
Tsitsipas was born to Apostolos Tsitsipas, a former professional tennis player and coach, and Angeliki Tsitsipas. He began playing tennis at an early age under his father's guidance.
Path and career
Tsitsipas turned professional in 2016 and won his first ATP title in Stockholm in 2018. He reached the Australian Open final in 2019 and 2021, and won the ATP Finals in 2019.
Known for his aggressive baseline game and powerful forehand, Tsitsipas has consistently ranked in the top 5 of world tennis. He has represented Greece in Olympic and Davis Cup competitions.
