Early life
Taemin was born in Seoul and showed early interest in performance arts. He trained under SM Entertainment before his professional debut.
Path and career
Taemin debuted as a member of Shinee in 2008 at age 14, becoming the group's youngest member. The group became one of South Korea's most successful K-pop acts, known for innovative music and choreography.
Beyond Shinee, Taemin released solo albums starting in 2014 and appeared in television dramas and films. He completed mandatory military service from 2021 to 2023 and returned to music activities afterward.
