Early life
Johnson was born on March 3, 1996, in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. He attended high school in Pennsylvania before playing college basketball at Pitt and North Carolina.
Path and career
Johnson played college basketball at the University of Pittsburgh (2014–2016) and then transferred to the University of North Carolina (2016–2019). He was selected 11th overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2019 NBA Draft.
With the Suns, Johnson developed into a reliable three-point shooter and rotation player. He was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2023 and subsequently to the Chicago Bulls, establishing himself as a consistent contributor in the NBA.
