Early life
Costa was born in Brasília, Brazil on September 14, 1990. He began his professional career with Brasília FC before moving to Europe.
Path and career
Costa joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2010, where he developed into a key player and won the Ukrainian Premier League. He transferred to Bayern Munich in 2015, winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal.
He moved to Juventus in 2017 on loan, then permanently in 2018, winning Serie A titles. Costa later played for Atlético Madrid and other clubs, representing Brazil internationally with multiple Copa América and Olympic appearances.
