George Kusunoki Miller , known professionally as Joji, is a Japanese-Australian singer, songwriter, rapper, comedian, and internet personality. His music has been described as a mix between R&B, lo-fi, and trip-hop. Miller also created The Filthy Frank Show on YouTube in 2011, a comedy web-series while he was still living in Japan, playing the oddball characters Filthy Frank and Pink Guy.

Early life

Miller was born in Osaka, Japan, to a Japanese mother and Australian father. He spent his childhood in both Japan and Australia before settling in Japan as a teenager.

Path and career

Miller launched The Filthy Frank Show on YouTube in 2011, a comedy web series featuring absurdist characters including Filthy Frank and Pink Guy. The channel gained a cult following for its surreal humor and experimental content.

He transitioned to music as Joji in the mid-2010s, releasing EPs and albums including Ballads 1 (2017) and Nectar (2020). His solo work achieved mainstream success with streaming hits and critical acclaim for his atmospheric production style.
